Nursing emerged as a profession in the mid- 19th century. Florence Nightingale a well educated woman was the founder of modern nursing. She challenged social norms and wealthy parents by becoming a nurse.
Globally, nurses have been playing a key role in the health sector including Bangladesh.
According to the International nursing Council of Nurses, modern nursing is a mixture of knowledge and skills. Nurse practitioners could help doctors’ diagnosis and treat common illnesses. They are qualified to provide primary care services independently,as well asin collaboration with other health care professionals. Comprehensive training enable the nurses to assume greater responsibilities in more areas of heath care with high quality of care.
Moreover, I admit, the care nurses provide can have a big impact on our lives, our worst, most stressful days the ease our pain, calm our fears and explain the nursing procedures and treatment. Nurses offer a carying heart and guiding hand as we navigate wellness journey.
From the perspectives, Al-Manar Nursing College is committed to produce competent nurses to practice independently in any health settings of the world particularly in Bangladesh.
